Plywood Production Lines

Sitor designs and manufactures complete hydraulic press lines for plywood production — from veneer gluing to hot pressing. Our Plywood production lines ensure uniform heat distribution, precise pressure control, and consistent panel quality for efficient and reliable plywood manufacturing.

We offer two loading systems depending on the working method of multi-daylight presses:

  • Through-feed system | With conveyor belts

  • Tablet system | With pushing

Through-feed System

Loading and unloading of the press are carried out using belt conveyors in the loading and unloading device and conveyor belts on the heated plates. The heat-resistant belts on the heated plates are fastened to clamping planks, allowing for quick belt replacement. These belts also serve as the working surface and protect the surface of the heated plates.

Each conveyor of the loading device is filled individually via a belt conveyor located before the loading device. Once fully loaded, the loading device is aligned with the press to enable simultaneous transport of the panels into the press. After the hot-pressing cycle has finished, the press opens and aligns with the unloading device. The panels are then transported simultaneously to the stacking device, from which they are placed one by one onto the belt conveyor.

  • production of plywood with the thickness up to 50 mm in a single step
  • production of oversized panels up to 2.000 x 3.050 mm
  • option: production of composite (sandwich) panels
  • panel handling without slipping or product surface damage
  • installation at floor level – no excavation required

Plywood Panel Production Line Sitor

Plywood Hot Press Line Sitor

Discharging of the press and stacking of the plywood panels.

Tablet System

Loading and unloading of the press are performed using pushing arms and tables.

  • High production capacity
  • Prepressing of the package in a cold press – better gluing quality, shorter hot-gluing cycle of the hot gluing, and reduced daylight opening
